Project description
To support the production of precast concrete columns with varying heights, RATEC developed a solution based on the MHS Modular Wood Shuttering system. A base profile measuring up to approximately 26 ft in length was combined with individually adjustable angle adapters.
Form height is achieved using angle adapters, to which plywood facing is attached via C-channels, enabling efficient production of varying column dimensions. A key advantage is the separation between the base profile and adapters: the base system remains universally usable across multiple applications.
In this application, columns with heights up to approximately 32 inches were produced.
The result is a cost-effective, highly adaptable solution that performs especially well in plants with frequently changing production requirements.
