Project description
RATEC developed a custom formwork system for the production of heavy precast wall panels with thicknesses of up to approximately 47 inches. In this specific application, 33-inch-thick sandwich wall panels are produced.
The system features a two-part design, allowing flexible use across different wall thicknesses. Positioning is achieved using SPB2100 magnet boxes, while a keyhole connection system ensures fast and accurate assembly.
With its crane-handling capability and high structural rigidity, the solution is ideally suited for standardised precast elements with high production volumes. The customer benefits from reduced setup times, lower manual labour, and improved overall plant efficiency.
