The 4th Precast & Modular Summit took place on November 9, 2023. Once again, it was scheduled in conjunction with, but independent from, Philconstruct Manila. When construction professionals come together to attend the #1 industry event in the Philippines, it provides the perfect occasion to gather and share insights, stay updated on the latest trends, exchange experiences, and build personal connections. The overwhelming interest was evident once again, with more than 70 attendees at the fully booked event.

As the built environment continues to evolve, the challenge of building faster, better, greener, and safer becomes increasingly relevant. Prefabrication remains a key enabler of safe, productive, and sustainable construction, while also offering the potential to leverage digital tools for further process optimization. These topics were addressed and emphasized in four sessions and a panel discussion, showcasing the latest project results.

Our deepest thanks go to the speakers for their excellent contributions:

  • Daniel Poh L Tiu, Chief Operating Officer, D' New Hard Builders & Dev't Corp (HBDC), Philippines
  • Seiji Nakamura, President, Tokyo Advanced Technology Inc., President, Shanghai Advanced Technology Inc., Concrete Chief Engineer, Japan Concrete Institute (JCI), Japan
  • Bernhard Leitner, Managing Director, Green Code, Germany
  • Sylvia Chai of RATEC Asia, Singapore

The summit concluded with a panel discussion among the speakers, moderated by RATEC Asia Director Raymond Chan.

Next time it's time to celebrate - look out for the announcement of the 5th edition in 2024.
