Project description
For a customer in Austria, RATEC developed a magnetic formwork solution for the flexible production of different top flange profiles within an existing beam formwork system.
Special adjustable end stops based on the Standard Automatic Shuttering (SAS) were used, equipped with integrated magnets providing a holding force of 2,100 kg. In combination with interchangeable timber boxes, the required top flange geometry is precisely defined.
The solution enables a high degree of variability with minimal changeover effort. Existing formwork systems remain in use, while setup times and material usage are significantly reduced.
For the customer, this results in a substantial increase in flexibility alongside optimised production processes.
