Successful half day event with AP3I Indonesia on Innovation Driven Precast & Prestressed Concrete Manufacturing

Indonesia’s industry Association AP3I (Asosiasi Perusahaan Pracetak dan Prategang Indonesia)  hosted a half-day function in their Beton Innovation Forum event series on 12 December 2023, dedicated to share insights, explore innovative approaches in Precast & Prestressed Manufacturing and to network and exchange among the participants.

The background for the event is clear: Infrastructure development is vital for every country, from the national to the local level. Concrete is a key construction material, with precast and prestressed concrete offering efficiency, durability, and environmental benefits in various projects. Indonesia is actively advancing its infrastructure, including the significant Nusantara capital city project with a budget of IDR 466 trillion (approx. USD 33 billion). The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has allocated budgets of IDR 125.2 trillion (approx. USD 8.3 billion) in 2023 and IDR 146.98 trillion (approx. USD 9.8 billion) in 2024 for priority infrastructure development.

Among the distinguished speakers of the event was also RATEC Asia Director Raymond Chan, who presented on „DfMA in Concrete Precast and Modular Production“.
