Instead of trade fair visits: Online presentations provide insight into products and services
"Rethinking" is currently a key approach in many industries where customer contact is generally essential. RATEC GmbH, international market leader for magnetic formwork solutions, has therefore created a new form of customer interaction. The company is using live webinars to provide insight into its products and services. Following the first successful session, the second webinar is scheduled for this month.
When trade fairs and customer meetings cannot take place, new solutions are called for: RATEC GmbH has reacted quickly to the current situation, launching a series of webinars. In live sessions, the Hockenheim-based company provides insight into current projects and products at regular intervals, offers valuable background information and answers participants' questions. In order to meet international customers and partners, the webinars, which last around one hour, are held in English. Jörg Reymann, Managing Director of RATEC GmbH: "We use the opportunities digitalization offers to stay in close contact with our customers even in times of flight bans and contact restrictions".
The very first webinar was a complete success for RATEC: Around 100 participants followed the live session on "Magnetic Formwork Technology for Solid Elements Production" on May 7. Jörg Reymann provided insight and background information on magnetic formwork technology for the production of solid elements. Participants learned about the production process, participated interactively in the webinar via online surveys and had a look at product solutions from different countries like Thailand and Chile. Videos showed how work on site is carried out during normal operation. "The feedback we have received has been very positive. Of course, we are not resting on our laurels, but are constantly developing our digital competences," says Reymann.
And this is what's coming up
The next webinars are already in the starting blocks: On May 20, there will be a repeat of the webinar on "Magnetic Formwork Technology for Solid Elements Production". It will take place in the afternoon for all participants who could not attend the first session in the morning due to a time difference.
The "North America Special" on the topic of "Siderail systems for precast panels" will be held on May 21. "This time around, we have focused specifically on our customers in North America," explains Jörg Reymann. The webinar will therefore be led by Samuel Gallagher, Sales Engineer at American subsidiary RATEC LLC, who will provide insight into which solutions there are specifically for the North American market and demonstrate how precast concrete elements can be secured using magnet-based formwork components. Reymann promises: "Of course we will also offer interactive exchange with our participants in this case".
Further online sessions are also currently in planning. The company provides information on their topics on its social media channels LinkedIn and Twitter.
